Case 3- Angioplasty for basilar stenosis
Case History
Sixty-five year old male with a history of hypertension
and diabetes presented with recurrent symptoms of intermittent
quaradaparasis and ataxia. Image 1 demonstrates very
high-grade proximal basilar artery stenosis. Image 2
shows marked improvement in basilar stenosis after angioplasty.
Patients symptoms totally abated after angioplasty
procedure was completed.
